NPC

Only the individual thinks. Only the individual reasons. Only the individual acts.

The only thing any person truly owns is their agency. No man nor deity controls your agency unless we surrender it to them. Satan's ultimate goal to to remove your agency, and control you.

What I wonder is, are there people who exist that have given their agency and in turn their ability to think freely over to another person or belief? As in, are there really NPC's running around the world that can only say what they've been told? Every event in life is tied to a preset response? They've turned over agency for vice. They've exchanged choice for rote performance.

It's an eternal principle, so it only makes sense that it's becoming manifest in this life. Those who are bound in this life will be bound in the next. Those who are clean in this life will be clean in the next. Those who are righteous here, will be righteous still and those who sought to do evil will be evil still.

As Mises states:

Only the individual thinks. Only the individual reasons. Only the individual acts.

Group thought, hive-mind, what's good for the goose is good for the gander... these ideas are detrimental to society. As we view the needs of society first, then the individual- we do a disservice to ourselves and our society. This is why socialism fails. It's backwards. In reality, God comes first, and our relationship with Him. Then comes ourselves, followed by our spouse, our family and so on.

Ezra Taft Benson said it well:

The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in. The world would take people out of the slums. Christ takes the slums out of people, and then they take themselves out of the slums. The world would mold men by changing their environment. Christ changes men, who then change their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature. . . .

May we be convinced that Jesus is the Christ, choose to follow Him, be changed for Him, captained by Him, consumed in Him, and born again”
